These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of schedulebuilder.wiki and the Schedule Builder tool. By visiting the site or creating a schedule, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Service description
Schedule Builder provides a browser-based interface for creating weekly, class, work, and shift plans. Features may include time blocks, colors, locations, notes, repeat rules, conflict notices, local browser storage, print output, PNG images, ICS files, CSV tables, and JSON backups. We may change, pause, or remove features as the project evolves.
2. Your schedule data
You are responsible for the accuracy, confidentiality, rights, and appropriate use of the information you enter into a schedule. Local browser storage and downloaded files are controlled by your device, browser, operating system, and file-handling choices. Keep your own backup when a schedule contains important personal, student, employment, or client information.
You are also responsible for checking time zones, travel time, availability, staffing requirements, university rules, employer policies, and other facts that the tool cannot know from the blocks you enter.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not disrupt, attack, overload, or interfere with the site or other visitors.
- Do not use the service to process unlawful, infringing, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.
- Do not attempt to bypass security controls, inject malicious code, or scrape the site aggressively.
- Do not represent Schedule Builder as an employer, university, payroll provider, or official scheduling system.
- Use the site in compliance with applicable law and the rights of other people and organizations.
4. Tool limitations
Conflict checking compares the time blocks entered into the current schedule. It does not understand travel, preparation, recovery, time zones, recurring obligations outside the visible week, labor regulations, course enrollment, or whether a plan is realistic. An absence of a warning is not a guarantee that the schedule can be followed.
Export files should be opened and checked in your own browser, calendar application, spreadsheet, printer, or deployment workflow before production use.
5. Availability and changes
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent local storage, or compatibility with every browser and device. Browser APIs, printing, downloads, local storage, and calendar import behavior can vary by platform. If a feature fails, try a current version of another major browser and keep an exported backup.
We may update these Terms when the site's storage, export, analytics, advertising, or support behavior changes. The effective date on this page identifies the current version.
6. Intellectual property and external links
The Schedule Builder name, original site text, interface organization, and branding belong to the site operator unless otherwise stated. Your schedule content remains your responsibility. You must have the right to use any personal, client, school, or company information you enter or export.
The site may link to calendar documentation, browser resources, privacy information, or other external services. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, terms, or privacy practices.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the schedule builder will meet every planning need, produce a perfect schedule, preserve every local draft, or remain available without interruption.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the site, inability to use it, local storage loss, exported files, or decisions made from a schedule. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so parts of this section may not apply.
